NAC 2020 terms and conditions

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and partners at NAC 2020 are required to have read the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

NAC 2020 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, Twitter and other online social media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.


NWO offers free professional childcare at the conference venue for all participants of NAC 2020. During registration you will be given the option to indicate if you want to make use of this service. If you have selected the option for childcare in your registration, you will be contacted separately by the conference organisers. 

Conference fees

For the 2019 edition of NAC, NWO subsidises the conference and has set the rates for three categories to the following:

The conference fee includes for 2 days: coffee breaks, lunches, drinks, dinner on 12 March 2020, overnight stay on 12/13 March 2020.

If you will only attend one day, excluding overnight stay, fees are half:

The conference fee includes for 1 day: coffee breaks, lunch, drinks, and when applicable dinner on 12 March 2020.

Master students can only register to the conference if they also contribute to the conference programme, i.e. they are required to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster. Noncompliance with this requirement will result to deregistration, with a partial refund of paid fees according to the cancellation policy. Participation by Master students is limited to a maximum of 50 students (with limited room capacity). 

During registration MSc students, PhDs and Postdocs can indicate a preferred roommate (based on same gender, no mixed rooms are possible). Please note that room availability is limited and priority will be given to participants with a greater travel distance from outside Utrecht.
